Eve

Eve Shreiner, a 20-year-old from the Gold Coast, faced a challenging two-year period of unemployment. Despite her persistent efforts in applying for jobs, she received no responses, significantly impacting her self-esteem, confidence and overall wellbeing. Determined to turn her life around, Eve enrolled in the Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation’s Onwards & Upwards – to a Job Program. Eve embraced all aspects of the program and worked hard with integrity to develop a version of herself who is ready to seek her positive future.

Meredith

With a wealth of experience, including her former role as Principal at Kirwan State High School, Meredith brings a passion for empowering students to reach new heights.

Ross

Ross Thompson, CEO PeopleIN underlines the positive impact their collaboration with Inspiring Brighter Futures has on the local community.

Our mentors are the best advocates for why you should get involved, Ross says it best when asked what you would say to your mates about mentoring for IBFF. ‘Everyone has a story and has value to add, especially individuals that are on this program that have just starting their careers, just to give them that guidance and a nudge is very fulfilling from a personal point of view.

Brielle found the budgeting workshop extremely helpful and was grateful to her mentor Kelly for supporting her to save money, look for apprenticeships and to get her driving lessons.
