Lunches with Purpose: Corporate Fundraising Series Gains Momentum

The Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation (IBFF) is proving that meaningful impact can start at the table – with a growing series of Fundraising & Networking Lunches underway in 2025, with two more on the calendar, and additional dates to be announced soon.

Held at Brisbane’s iconic Story Bridge Hotel, the Corporate Fundraising & Networking Lunch series invites corporate leaders to connect over lunch, premium wine tasting, and powerful storytelling,  all in support of IBFF’s mission to empower vulnerable youth through its Onwards & Upwards Wellbeing Mentoring Program.

With just 20 seats available per event, these exclusive lunches foster deep connection and shared purpose among community-minded professionals. Guests hear firsthand from a young person whose life has been transformed by IBFF’s work, making the cause real, urgent, and personal.

A premium wine tasting experience, curated by renowned sommelier Darren Davis, adds a touch of style to the afternoon, making each event not only meaningful but also memorable.

Onwards & Upwards is the Foundation’s flagship self-development program created to support young people facing challenges and adults in need. 

The programs are delivered with one-on-one mentoring and/or via an online learning platform to two main groups: school-aged young people and the long-term unemployed.

“Young people are facing many challenges, and the opportunity to work with a mentor in a structured program is delivering results,” Foundation CEO and founder John Godwin said. 

“Corporate support is pivotal to us being able to deliver these programs and we look forward to continued involvement in our upcoming events.”
