A grant from Brisbane Airport Corporation will enable the Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation to deliver its Onwards & Upwards program to 10 young people in Redlands.
The 2026 Community Giving Fund from Brisbane Airport Corporation has seen eligible organisations share in $125,000 in community funding grants.
The Foundation was proud to be one of the recipients, awarded $10,000 to deliver the Onwards & Upwards – Redlands Youth Wellbeing Mentoring Program.
The funding will support the delivery of an 8-week structured mentoring program for young people at risk of disengagement from school and community.
The Onwards & Upwards program builds confidence, resilience, communication skills, and future direction, while strengthening connection to education and positive adult supports.
Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation founder and CEO John Godwin and programs manager Stewart Koplick were on hand to receive the grant.

“We’re delighted to receive this grant from Brisbane Airport,” Stewart Koplick said.
“This will enable us to deliver another important program, which will aid in important early intervention programs in Redlands.
“This is a great example of community and corporate partnership coming together to support youth wellbeing and positive futures.”
The Foundation plans to hold over 80 programs in 2026 in Queensland, with its more than 600 active volunteer mentors focusing on its core groups of young people facing challenges, emerging student leaders, and job seekers.
Since the launch of the Community Giving Fund in 2015, Brisbane Airport Corporation has donated over $530,000 to help small organisations continue the important work they do within the community.
