Code of Conduct

Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation Code of Conduct is to clarify and affirm the standards of behaviour expected of persons to whom this policy applies and to establish that a breach of this Code may result in disciplinary action.

Safeguarding our young people

Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation takes seriously the role it plays in ensuring the safety, welfare and wellbeing of every child in its care.

The Foundation subscribes to the National Principles for a Child Safe Organisation. These principles are based on the Child Safe Standards drawn from the Australian Government’s Royal Commission into the Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

A child safe organisation consciously and systematically:

  • Creates an environment where children’s safety and wellbeing is the center of thought, values and actions.
  • Places emphasis on genuine engagement with and valuing of children.
  • Creates conditions that reduce the likelihood of harm to children and young people.
  • Creates conditions that increase the likelihood of identifying harm.
  • Responds to any concerns, disclosures, allegations of suspicions of harm.
  • In support of this commitment, policies, procedures and training are in place at Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation to effectively address the safety and wellbeing of students in our care.
